ITDP is a nonprofit organization headquartered in New York City with offices in Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, and the United States. ITDP’s programs focus on public transport, non-motorized transport, travel demand management, parking, transport policy, and urban development.

Li Wei

Chief Technical Officer

Li Wei is a senior traffic and transportation engineer. Her work has primarily focused on Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and non-motorized transport (NMT). As well as working for ITDP, she has worked as a consultant to Asian Development Bank, World Bank, and UN-Habitat funded urban transport projects in Asian, African and Oceanian cities. She was part of ITDP’s team working on the sustainable transport projects in Guangzhou, Yichang, Lanzhou, Jinan, Tianjin, Nanning, Guiyang, Jiuquan & Hetian, Ulaanbaatar, Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru & Penang, Jakarta & Medan, Vientiane, Manila, Suva and Cairo. Wei graduated from the South China University of Technology in 2005.
