ITDP is a nonprofit organization headquartered in New York City with offices in Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, and the United States. ITDP’s programs focus on public transport, non-motorized transport, travel demand management, parking, transport policy, and urban development.

Leonardo Veiga

Monitoring & Evaluation Manager

Leonardo Veiga is an economist graduated at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and holds a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning at Instituto de Planejamento Urbano e Regional – IPPUR (UFRJ). He works at ITDP Brazil as Monitoring & Evaluation Manager. 

At the university he had the opportunity to study topics related to regional economics, economic development and urban mobility. Before ITDP he worked as a researcher at a consulting company in the area of economic development (EDUTEC) and as Information Analyst at UN-Habitat Brazil.  Recently he worked at the Fiscal Advisory Office of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Rio de Janeiro, producing data analysis and research on the socio-economic scenario of the State of Rio de Janeiro.
