Petra Dunne
Partnership Development Manager
Petra (she/her/hers pronouns) joined the Development team at ITDP in 2019. Her role includes managing and growing a portfolio of institutional and corporate donors, supporting proposal development, prospect research, grants management and donor compliance. With over 13 years of experience in international development, Petra worked for various non-profit organizations in NYC and abroad including The Asia Foundation in Afghanistan, Pacific Forum in Hawaii, Education Pioneers, and the National Committee on American Foreign Policy. Prior to joining ITDP, Petra worked as a Program Development Officer at WaterAid America, whose primary mission aims to provide access to clean water and sanitation for the most disadvantaged communities in the developing world. Petra holds a Bachelor degree from Hunter College and a Master of International Affairs degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs with a concentration in international security policy. She enjoys traveling and spending time in Asia, biking, playing tennis, swimming, and hiking.
