ITDP is a nonprofit organization headquartered in New York City with offices in Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, and the United States. ITDP’s programs focus on public transport, non-motorized transport, travel demand management, parking, transport policy, and urban development.

Transport Planning Associate

Peninah Ndegwa holds a first class honours degree in urban and regional planning from the University of Nairobi. She is passionate about transportation planning, with a particular interest in non-motorised transport (NMT). She has been involved in organising several cycling and walking events to create awareness of NMT as the president of the Planning Students Association (PLASA) at the University of Nairobi. Before joining ITDP, she worked as a physical planner in NGOs and private practice firms.
