Madhumitha Vasu
Associate - Urban Development
Madhumitha is a Junior Urban development Associate at ITDP, supporting the Complete streets team in Chennai and Tamil Nadu with analysis, coordination and communication. She is an architecture graduate from School of architecture and planning, Anna University, passionate towards building equitable and sustainable cities, through her work.
Owing to her keen interest in the urban development sector, she worked on several urban design projects during her internship at Jana urban space foundation, Bangalore; and she also interned with the Smart cities mission, MOHUA where she was engaged in conceptualising real-time data dashboards, devised outreach strategies, and drafted detailed reports. She has a vision to create impact at scale, in pursuit of which she attended a certification course in advanced public policy as well.
She is constantly in the process of exploring her interests and prides in being a Jack of all trades. If you think you saw someone that looked like her in a completely random part of the city, it’s probably her.
