Lindsay Sweet

Development Associate

Lindsay (she/her/hers pronouns) joined ITDP’s development team in 2019 to strengthen and support the organization’s overall fundraising capacity through grant writing, deadline tracking, prospective research, and database management. Before ITDP, Lindsay worked on the development team at the environmental nonprofit 1% for the Planet, where she helped lead fundraising initiatives in support of a healthier planet, gaining experience with donor engagement, record keeping in Salesforce, and submitting formal proposals for fundraising opportunities and events. Prior to that, Lindsay worked at Rubicon Global, a technology company with a mission to end waste. Lindsay’s work met at the intersection of smart cites, government relations, and policy in efforts to create more efficient and sustainable urban settings. With an education from the University of Vermont in Community and International Development, Lindsay is committed to cross-sector collaboration to help alleviate the social, economic, and environmental challenges impacting urban spaces across the U.S. and around the globe.
