ITDP is a nonprofit organization headquartered in New York City with offices in Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, and the United States. ITDP’s programs focus on public transport, non-motorized transport, travel demand management, parking, transport policy, and urban development.

Gonggom holds his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from University of Gadjah Mada and completed his double Master’s Degree at University of Gadjah Mada and University of Leeds majoring in Transport Planning and Engineering. Prior to joining ITDP Indonesia in early 2022, he spent his time in Qatar supporting the government in implementing various public transport projects and promoting public transport use in the country through different channels to increase the ridership and perception. He was also involved in the development of accessibility standards and integrated public transport information and journey planning portals. Continuing his interest in improving the public transport system to promote the mode shift, he is currently focusing his work on public transport integration where he oversees projects on PT fare and institutional integration in Metropolitan Jakarta. Additionally, he also provides support on other topics such as electrification and travel demand management.
