ITDP is a nonprofit organization headquartered in New York City with offices in Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, and the United States. ITDP’s programs focus on public transport, non-motorized transport, travel demand management, parking, transport policy, and urban development.

Emilio Rello

Transportation Analyst

A Civil Engineer from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, Emilio confirmed his great interest in mobility and transportation systems during his six-month academic stay at the Technical University of Munich, in Germany. Upon his return, he addressed the prioritization of public transport at signalized intersections in his research work to graduate, which he complemented with a microsimulation model in VISSIM. At the beginning of 2020, he joined the ITDP team, where he has participated in various projects together with Transport Network Companies through the Ideamos program, where he currently coordinates the MOVIN Reforma pilot. His interests are diverse, from the study of demand management in transport with mobility plans, to the promotion of active mobility and public transport.
