ITDP is a nonprofit organization headquartered in New York City with offices in Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, and the United States. ITDP’s programs focus on public transport, non-motorized transport, travel demand management, parking, transport policy, and urban development.

Debbie Wang

Special Assistant to the CEO

With over 10 years experience in project management, Debbie (she/her/hers pronouns) provides administrative and project support to the CEO and other members of the senior membership team.

Prior to joining ITDP, Debbie worked as Special Projects Manager at the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center, and Manager for Program Resource Development at the March of Dimes Foundation. She has lived and worked abroad in Haiti, Panama, and Australia; she served as a Peace Corps Volunteer from 2004-2006 as an Environmental Educator in Belize.

She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from Yale University’s School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and a Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in Global Health from Yale University’s School of Public Health. As part of her graduate degree in Environmental Management, she interned at organizations CATHALAC (Centro del Agua del Trópico Húmedo para América Latina y El Caribe) and the UN Permanent Mission of the Federated States of Micronesia, working on climate change issues.
