ITDP is a nonprofit organization headquartered in New York City with offices in Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, and the United States. ITDP’s programs focus on public transport, non-motorized transport, travel demand management, parking, transport policy, and urban development.

Senior Program Coordinator, Global Initiatives

Christina (she/her/hers pronouns) is a Senior Program Coordinator, supporting ITDP’s Global programmatic work. She leads agenda development and partnerships for ITDP’s annual international summit on sustainable transport, MOBILIZE. In her role, she also brings together knowledge and products across ITDP’s country offices, contributes to the Global program’s research on the mobility of young children, caregivers and women, and supports the Sustainable Transport Award Committee. She is passionate about finding and cultivating connections to promote sustainable transport that enables equitable and dignified access to opportunities in cities.

Prior to joining ITDP in 2017, Christina completed a Fulbright grant in the Northeast of Brazil and worked as an Adult Education Program Manager at New York Cares. She is currently pursuing a Master’s of Urban Planning at NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and holds a Bachelor’s in Global Liberal Studies, also from NYU. Christina speaks Portuguese and Spanish.
