Cycling & Walking
With programs such as bike sharing, cycle lane master plans, and pedestrian streets, ITDP promotes non-motorized transport, more livable cities, and safety for pedestrians and cyclists.
Outreach & Awareness
With initiatives like Our Cities Ourselves and the Sustainable Transport Award, ITDP increases public awareness of the critical role of transportation in urbanization and climate change. ITDP also distributes information targeted at professionals and decision-makers about specific transport-related issues.
